I messed up my motherboard while trying to take out a stubborn screw. The black-capped pins near it got damaged, and I’m worried about the damage. Can you tell me if it’s likely to be okay? Please help!

It's tough to judge from these images. The tracks close to the screw seem fine. You've removed some of the coating, but if they're still there, it should be okay. The cap appears normal in the photos. In the worst scenario, it could be replaced if you manage to find someone with a good soldering tool.

I don’t get a clear picture of what needs adjusting. Just turn it on and check its performance.

That is one seriously mangled screw. You drilled it or something? Can't see the bent. I do see some exposed copper though.

We require a more precise, concentrated view of this spot to identify any issues online: Examine those traces closely to determine if they’re damaged or connected incorrectly. If you're fortunate, you’ve just removed the solder mask (coating) and can reapply a protective layer using something like lacquer or enamel. (You can purchase small containers of solder resist, though drugstore nail polish serves a similar purpose.)

These solder masks often require UV curing. Using nail polish wouldn’t be safe—it could release harmful solvents. My idea is that UV lamps are the proper method.
