I accept that Valve might be playing a prank.

It's not about refusing to try—it's just one of those games I rarely pay much attention to. I know it could be enjoyable, but I'm unsure if the experience would match how it felt when it first came out.
Gabe will never tackle HL3; it won’t happen until Valve goes bankrupt. The company seems lazy, and people should stop treating Gabe like a deity. I think this was a generational shift—I recall my uncle borrowing *Halflife* and saying it was the best game ever, so I played through it and had to accept him. *Halflife 2* felt the same way for us; I remember playing it all over Christmas with him. Looking at both titles, they’ve both dated poorly. I can’t understand why others consider them the best PC games ever.
LAN works much more effectively online. The last LAN location closed in my area this year, and I’m going to be sad about it.
Engaging with others feels more natural, and toxic behavior is rare. When someone gets angry, you can witness it and enjoy laughing with other players. The LAN store may no longer exist (R.I.P.), but LAN gatherings remain (thank the gods).
It seems like you're excited about something! Let me know how I can assist further.
I'm among those who never played any Half Life titles, yet I'm puzzled about why Gabe hasn't released another one... definitely worth the investment. What's going on? Oh! And don't call Gabe God... it sounds pretty absurd even in jest. I'm thinking of you, Linus!
