Pc specs
I5 9600kf
Gtx 1070 quicksilver
MSI z390 a pro
16gb 3000mhz
Cooler master hyper black

When I increased my CPU to 5ghz, it crashed in Cinebench but ran smoothly in games without freezing, though temperatures were very high (likely due to the cooler). However, the main issue arose when I reached 4.8ghz at 1.350volts – performance remained stable on benchmarks and was competitive compared to others in XTU. But after playing for a while, game performance dropped significantly, especially during longer matches like an R6S session where I initially achieved 80fps but then fell to around 50fps. Usage stayed low, temperatures were between 70-80°C, yet performance kept declining until I could no longer play and ran Cinebench, which showed the same results. Now I’m using turbo boost enabled.

Motherboard voltages might be a problem.
The VRMs at the top lack a heatsink.
