I removed my RAM stick while the computer was running and broke it. I don’t think the motherboard is affected. Is there any chance to repair it? I used to have 16 GB but now only 8 GB. The broken part of the stick has different colors than the other one, and it shows strange hues.

It’s probably wiser to accept the situation and be grateful you avoided damaging the board by taking the RAM out while it was running. There aren’t many real DIY options for repairing RAM.
