Hype mode engaged: MSFS 2020
I do not believe that is an XBox One trailer. I believe that is an XBox branded trailer. Those are different things.
I'm not aware of any Xbox game (compatible with Xbox One) that featured a trailer but did not launch.
Microsoft Flight(2012) cannot be played on Xbox One.
Xbox One came out on November 22, 2013. Microsoft Flight(2012) was never available for Xbox One.
Are you aware of any Xbox game that had an Xbox branded trailer but didn’t launch? My idea is that unless a compatible Xbox game with a trailer fails to release, Microsoft Flight Simulator (the one set for 2020) has a high likelihood of launching. The quality doesn’t matter much since players will spend money regardless. I’d really like to play it, but I’m uncertain about the timing.
Your requirements are not confirmed. Currently, there is no proof that this game works on an Xbox One; it has only been tested on PC. Your firm insistence that it can run on Xbox One lacks evidence to date. I have demonstrated that Xbox-branded titles have been released without being compatible with Xbox hardware. This shows there is no necessity for a game with branding to function on the Xbox One or any other related devices.
This is why I claim a 99.99% accuracy rate, not 100%. But should the past repeat itself, the game will debut on Xbox One in 2020. I find it odd that Microsoft would release a branded Xbox trailer for this title instead of launching the game itself on the platform. It seems unusual considering their previous approach.
It's also worth noting how challenging it is to achieve 22-30 fps in Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox One, especially given the game's demanding nature. Even if performance drops to 15 fps, console players generally don't focus on that metric—they prioritize visual quality.
Il-2 1946 for WWII combat simulations offers a wide range of dynamic campaign packs, allowing you to explore virtually any location during the war. Rise of Flight for WWI is decent, but it's unclear how the requirements have changed over time. For civilian flight sims, MSFS Flight Sim X: Steam Edition remains available, though its performance may vary based on your laptop. The graphics are somewhat outdated.
Great, thanks. It seems IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 will likely be the fastest and most convenient option for just $2.49 soon. Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition hasn't reached $5.00 to $6.00 in nearly two years and hasn't dropped below $10.00 in almost a year. It could possibly hit $9.99 in a few days during the Autumn/Black Friday Steam Sale on November 22nd. Considering Steam, they'll probably match its previous sale price of $16.24 just to annoy me.
I thought I remembered from one of the developer interviews that they initially planned to make it for PC, but after researching on the Xbox website, it seems they're promoting it as an Xbox One game. I remain quite doubtful about its performance on Xbox One hardware, though marketing claims it will work. Still, we'll have to wait and see. I just hope it isn't a heavily modified version meant to fit outdated systems.
Additionally, I notice Project Scarlet's launch titles are also being marketed as Xbox One games, which makes me curious about whether Project Scarlett will follow the same branding. Have they officially announced its commercial name? I wouldn't expect them to reuse the Xbox One title for it.
