Hey there! I recently acquired an ASUS Rog Strix B450 f-gaming with an RTX 2070 Super GamingOC from Gigabyte, along with a Gigabyte 750 MWE Gold PSU and a Cooler Master 750W power supply. Everything seemed fine until I noticed something odd with the HVMonitor. It was showing 10.08V on the +12V rail, while the BIOS reads 12.093V. The GPUZ reports stable power at 12.1V on both PCIe and 8pin/6pin connectors, regardless of load. I’m curious about the 10V reading from HVMonitor—could it be a false value? At 10V, the system shouldn’t operate normally, yet mine is stable.

For tracking voltage on PSU rails, the software performs poorly. Use a real measuring device instead.

It's completely inaccurate, a small voltage shift can trigger issues, and missing 2 volts from the 12v line would prevent the system from starting.

I don't rely on software; I notice the PC runs smoothly, Fur Max operates without issues, and my rendering tools function perfectly during rendering. I don't perceive any problems, and I'm certain the 10V reading is incorrect. When testing the 24-pin connector, should I use a jumper to close the PSU engage signal so the power supply can actually start?

Open your BIOS settings. On newer boards, the readings for 3.3v, 5v and 12v tend to be more precise.

Review the stress test footage closely; voltage drops consistently between 0.1 and 0.2V. Verify the 12V rail measurements and GPUZ GPU readings. The background noise appears as coil whine from the PSU—very noticeable. Your motherboard displays accurate voltage readings.

It's not an issue, just relax. My B450-F Gaming has been running for over two years. After switching the PSU to SUPREMO FM2, the hwinfo displayed 12.2V (BIOS 3103). With the newer BIOS version (4502), it now shows around 10.2V. Even though the BIOS still lists 12.2V, I don't see any changes in the actual readings. The system didn't stabilize at 10V, and I'm certain it's fully stable under load, so the hwinfo might be inaccurate.
