Flash is the worst tool ever pushed onto us. It behaves poorly, keeps crashing, and is a neglected plugin. I watch YouTube with VLC, so it doesn’t bother me much... Maybe the issue lies in Flash’s ability to detect video driver settings, rather than Flash itself.

However, I won't compromise on video quality, even if it's not great.

Another video codec affects image quality and colors differently. Flash uses its own version for HTML5, but it can still work well if coded properly. Comparing it to C++ is unfair—just because malware exists doesn’t mean the language is bad. HTML5 can also be poorly implemented. I’m not sure what people do, but I haven’t experienced Flash crashing often. My main concern is Chrome’s handling of plugins. Flash was my first programming language as a kid; I’m familiar with its details.

It used to occur regularly in my routine. I now turned it off in my browser settings. While some platforms like Twitch appear more reliable than YouTube here, I’ve fully moved to VLC and downloading videos for higher quality than 720p.

It seems the issue might lie with the web browser or your system settings. (GPU drivers, sound card drivers, perhaps?) Check these areas for potential fixes.

It occurred with both my NVIDIA card and now my AMD one. The drivers seem unaffected. I usually update them promptly. It wouldn't be an issue if it were my sound card, wouldn't it? Regarding the browser, it happens in Opera, Firefox, and Chrome.

It seems like you're asking about a potential issue. Could you clarify what you mean by "addon" or the context? I'm here to help with any questions you have.

So I'm not sure what you're trying to do, since if it failed that much, no one would get Flash. But most people just get through it without issues.
