I used HPET by default before, turned it off and didn’t notice much improvement. Now when I try to turn it back on, both Windows and BIOS show significant lag. The performance drops sharply, with noticeable stuttering and FPS fluctuations between 10 and 200 in games. What’s happening? Also, I changed the CPU power setting from 65W to 125W via BIOS, thinking it wouldn’t impact performance. Other changes include C-state disabled and constant turbo mode.
