HP Z420 board

I am building a nas device from old pc parts. I have a board purchased from ebay. My case is a cooler master elite 430. The power supply is a thermaltake tr2 600w ATX. I have a 24-18 pin adapter connected for power. But it will not turn on. I've been looking for days. I've found info some manual info here. Here is the pinout for the front switch power. Please help.

Have you tried with another PSU? TR2s are ancient unless they've made a new line under the same name, I would suspect that first.

Yes, I have. I have a new 24-18 adapter on its way. I have taken the PSU of a Dell vostro 220, connected it to the HP z420, & still no power. I have taken the TR2 plugged it into the Vostro, & I get a yellow power light on the front, but nothing turns on, but that is all.

Prebuilds usually don’t let you change PSUs, while others might not. What is the power supply voltage of the PSU?

Sorry. That's a question about the setup. Also, I've noticed this approach works on that board.
