HP Smart generating PDFs that reach nearly A1 or A0 dimensions from an A4 file.
I have a HP Officejet 2620 with a scanner that handles A4 pages. With the HP Smart App installed, I can scan from my printer to my desktop. When I place an A4 page and adjust the scan settings, it works fine and saves as a PDF. However, when I open the saved PDF in Adobe Acrobat via file properties, the dimensions appear as 26 inches by 34 inches, which seems incorrect. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this?

But the dimensions won't change to 26 by 34 inches on A4 paper, will they? If you believe the file size is excessive, consider scanning at a lower resolution.
It won't be very large when printed, but for my university I submit them online and they mark through Turnitin. In Turnitin it doesn't show up because the files are in the original size of 26 by 34 inches. I'm not too worried about the file size in MB. Just trying to find a way to stop it from increasing to A0 size. The scan resolution is 300 dpi. I've changed the page size to Letter and A4 still doesn't make any difference.

As recalled, it is referred to as the "HP Solution Centre," and its icon must be placed on your Desktop.
