I recently purchased an HP Pro 6300 SFF and am aiming to upgrade it as much as possible within the system's limits. I've come across many different suggestions, so I'm unsure which ones are correct. Any advice or tips would be really helpful. P.S. It has 16 GB of RAM, and I plan to install a GTX 710 LP soon. The CPU is an Intel i3 at 3.3 GHz, with 2 TB of HDD storage.
GT 710 isn't a major improvement over the iGPU. It probably won't make a difference if you already have one, but if not, it's just an unnecessary expense. I'd skip it and opt for a budget SSD instead. The i3 should work adequately for simple web browsing, which seems to be your intended use.
Consider an i5 or i7 processor; many older i7 models are affordable, and newer i5 options can also be solid choices.
