I removed this laptop from my mum because it isn't working. When plugged in, the charger light is on but the device doesn't start. At the keyboard's bottom, the power indicator lights up, but the disk light stays off and the power light just flashes. Removing the battery doesn't bring anything back to life, and I haven't found any useful information online. Could there be something hidden inside that might help? Thank you for your time!
It seems like the motherboard or video chip might be faulty. The DV6 models are particularly prone to failure from certain problems.
