I have an HP Omen 15 with an i7-10750H processor, an RTX 2060 graphics card, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB plus 1TB SSD storage. I'm facing constant slowdowns and a persistent battery warning in Omen Gaming Hub, even though the laptop is plugged in and powered by AC. The issue seems unresolved—HP didn’t assist and Reddit hasn’t helped much. Can someone suggest a solution?

You may have to reset the PC, wiping all data. Even after that it could fail. The safest option is to reinstall Windows and then get drivers from HP's site.

Consider removing the gaming hub on your older Omen. It’s causing persistent popups, but you’re okay without the extra function keys and RGB controls.

I removed it without thinking much about the color settings. My main concern was keeping the device working properly without spending extra money, since backing up all my data isn’t practical right now.

External HDDs and SSDs will keep your information safe unless something goes wrong with your laptop, in which case the backup drive is still important.

You can access the control panel, similar to removing apps you saved online. However, I reinstalled the entire operating system; a factory reset isn’t an option because it’s integrated into the device from the start.
