I've used this setup for five years now. It functions well but experiences lag when playing videos on platforms like Amazon, YouTube, and iWTV. Recently, it was upgraded to a 256GB SSD three years ago, along with a 16GB DDR4 266Gb RAM, an Ax200NW (three years old), and a N2425D antenna. The current Windows version is 11 with updates to 22H2.22621.3296. If you're experiencing slow Wi-Fi speeds, any advice would be appreciated.

Linux is probably the most practical choice given the 7100U's limited capabilities. If you need to keep Windows running, a very basic setup might work. W11 will struggle significantly due to the excessive background processes it handles.
