Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know the updated fan harness is working. I switched to the Silent 9 fan, which spins at full RPM but is much quieter than the original case fan. When choosing between fans, it makes sense to run the case fan at full speed since it’s quieter than the air-to-air heatsink version. I also made some changes to the fan extension cable—using shrink wrap and soldering for durability. This way, if the case fan ever needs replacing in 10 years, you can just swap it out without altering the wiring. Thanks for the tips—I think we’ve solved this tricky HP PUMP_FAN issue!
