HP Elitedesk G2 lacks a battery compartment.
The motherboard received yesterday had a loose "wing shaped" piece from the "+ clip" pin, which broke out, leaving a fragment inside its "+" hole. The "-" pin was damaged inside the gold hole. I managed to pull the + pin out using a fine tip soldering iron. It restarts and works fine now. Should I consider taking out the mainboard and replacing the battery holder in those two holes after removing the remaining fragment from the "-" hole? Thanks for your guidance.
