HP Elite 7500 MT supports M.2 PCIe booting.
Intel didn't include boot support for M.2 drives until later in the Haswell line—meaning your motherboard can't start directly from an NVMe device. But with careful partitioning during OS setup, you can route a boot partition elsewhere while keeping the rest of the system on a PCIe M.2 slot. Keep in mind the Z75 Express only handles PCIe Gen 2, capping speeds near 1.5GB/s. A PCIe NVMe or M.2 card wouldn't make much difference versus a SATA SSD, and the CPU will still be the main bottleneck for performance. It's usually better to stick with a standard SATA SSD for speed.
