WARNING, PLEASE TAKE THIS HEAD: Someone posted a spoiler right here and it’s in all caps near the top. Read carefully. Chose to play Fallout 4 today—it was my first game. Spent around four hours exploring, mostly in Diamond City. I got through the main story easily, so I’ll skip those missions and just enjoy the open world and side quests. I noticed a few bugs with animations and AI. I defeated the Deathclaw by chasing it into the hole it came from, then shot it down—no idea if I prefer Fallout more than Skyrim. The atmosphere feels really gloomy, and there aren’t many friendly NPCs around yet. At least I understand that’s the vibe. Sometimes I wish it looked a bit brighter. And those ghouls are pretty scary!
The ghouls don’t play games. I’ve taken my lesson and will keep a safe distance from any trouble.
Creating places like towns and homes is really enjoyable! That’s how it’s been for me so far, returning to the original city where the people you assisted moved in.
yea. I meet a group of ghouls and suddenly like 20 of them sprinting at me super fast, I fire 2 shots but they already in my face lol. Also tomorrow I'm probably gona try messing around w console cheats. Cuz I just wana f*ck sh*t up lol.
Do you think you're missing out on any rewards, upgrades, or special items? Since you're just exploring and completing side tasks, it's possible you're not hitting the main story goals. Still, you might want to check for hidden loot or optional content if you're open to it. Your current setup with multiple pistols sounds a bit limited, but you can always upgrade them later!
I've been playing for about an hour, mostly trying to resolve an issue. When you turn off SSAO, all baked textures turn white except the sky. Unfortunately, I won't be able to play much until the weekend.
Only a short time has passed, yet I’m really enjoying it. I faced a problem where I had to force close the game on a terminal, but when I tried, nothing appeared and I couldn’t exit. Restarting the game let me continue without trouble, though the overall experience was pleasant.
