You started your PC in January and only purchased a hard drive, so you're using the drive as a partition. To transfer your operating system to an SSD and start from there, you'll need to reinstall the OS on the SSD. First, back up any important data, then format the SSD with the OS installation media, and finally install the OS on it. This way, you'll boot directly from the SSD.

Consider employing migration tools or restoring Windows from a new SSD. Which SSD model did you receive?
