I suggest using a hub that supports both RGB and PWM signals. These devices draw power from a standard SATA port, allowing you to manage control signals directly from your mainboard. You already have 13 Lian Li Uni infinity fans, each requiring two SATA connectors—one for PWM and another for RGB power—on the included hub.
5V ARGB supports many LED fans on one header easily. To distinguish them, a 5V ARGB unit uses three pins while a 12V RGB model uses four. Avoid connecting a 3-pin device to a 4-pin one—it won’t work properly. Extra point: some motherboards let you switch between 12V and 5V on the same header, but that’s risky and not recommended. Stick with 5V ARGB for a safer, more reliable setup.
