How to turn on adaptive sync for the ASUS TUF 'FX506HE' gaming laptop?
Hi, recently purchased a gaming laptop, it has an RTX graphics processor, and an intel CPU. I went to enable the variable refresh rate in Nvidia control panel, however the option wasn't there to enable it, it shows up on the intel IGPU's driver, but not nvidia's.
On my desktop, I have 'Set-up G-sync' as an option, and also an option in the 'Manage 3d settings' as a global option, it just doesn't seem to detect VRR/adaptive sync on the new laptop in Nvidia control panel.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
the rtx card probably works only when you're playing a game.
usually laptops use the igpu for desktops and the RTX card for games or tasks needing high graphics.
