Based on the video, though not identical to the keyboard, you should remove all keycaps and locate the screws that secure the top plate to the bottom plate.

The term "tape mod" refers to a particular modification or adjustment. The anticipated advantages of this setting are unclear. There are issues with the keyboard and its performance that need addressing. The warranty status is uncertain, as removing the backplate may invalidate it. Additional details are required.

Based on the video, you should remove all keycaps and identify the screws that secure the top plate to the bottom plate. After disassembly, you can proceed with the tape mode while marking screw positions to avoid damage during reassembly.

It seems the information provided doesn't address whether the link about the right to repair voids the warranty.

Please note the relevant sections.

Key points:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, water exposure, or other factors not related to production.
- As someone unfamiliar with the details, I think taping could be considered tampering.

Not to debate but, because the tape mod is simply takeable, it's unclear how they would verify my actions.

Watched the tape mod video.
Actually, there was no noticeable difference between taped and non-taped audio.
Waste of time. Haha.

Generally, manufacturers usually have methods to identify such issues. It might involve taking off the backplate, which could damage a seal or signal that the keyboard was opened. Small plastic fragments may come off permanently. In any scenario, you won't be assumed to have been protected. Drawing from personal observations about removable tapes, the situation can vary significantly depending on conditions and setup.
