Hey there, fellow overclockers,
What tools are best for stress testing CPU, GPU, and RAM to check stability? Also, what duration should these tests run? Ideally, would it be possible to use just one software that covers all the checks?
Side notes: My cousin tried Furmark for GPU (GTX 970) testing, and it worked well. But once he started playing graphically demanding games, his PC would crash within 5 to 10 minutes. So I think Furmark isn't ideal for this purpose...

Ended up using these configurations:
CPU: Prime95
GPU: Valley Benchmark
RAM: Memtest86 (the non + version)
These should function fine. Other benchmark programs can also put stress on the CPU. Cinebench is useful because it runs all threads at full capacity to generate a detailed report, though it stops once the image is ready.
Yes, Heaven or Valley will perform better on the GPU in a realistic gaming scenario. Monitor CPU and GPU usage with tools like HWmon to track their performance levels.

I use Furmark for the GPU, Intel Burn Test for the CPU, and Memtest for the RAM.
There might be a reason your cousin is having issues because Furmark only tests the GPU. Gaming puts more strain on both the CPU and GPU, as well as the rest of the system. This increases the load on the power supply unit. He could have a small, low-quality, or failing PSU.

The setup consisted of a CPU from Prime95, a GPU from Valley Benchmark, and RAM sourced from Memtest86 (without the additional version).
