How to save internet data on a hard drive? For your university project, you're thinking about capturing all storage devices connected to your PC. Analyzing and saving the traffic from these sources is possible, but it depends on the tools and methods you use. You can collect logs, monitor usage, and store relevant files if you have the right software.

In certain situations you can simply employ Wireshark and capture the data. It also allows filtering specific information.

Will it record and store everything? Imagine the content you’ll view in a browser or the TXT file you might download. I attempted to understand what Wireshark does, but I’m still unclear on some points.
