I'm trying to figure out how to achieve this. I've looked up the topic several times, but I'm still confused about what I'm aiming for. Essentially, I want to stream my desktop to be accessible on my laptop when I'm not using the desktop on the same network. This isn't for gaming, and my connection isn't powerful enough for that. There was a workaround using Steam Sharing, but it seems to have stopped working.

I found it but it seemed tricky to get started. I wouldn’t exaggerate if I said I spent a lot of effort on it.

Unfortunately, it won't allow me to use the laptop's touchscreen, which is really problematic... Edit - it performs quite poorly at it, honestly.
