It's an
Asrock B650I Lightning Wifi Mainboard (AM5).
Here's an excerpt from the mainboard manual:
1.
As you can see, the board has a
PWRBTN#
pin (2 below empty pin/6th pin). The question is, where do I short this pin to?
GND
?
Most guides mention shorting both power pins, mine has only 1.
2. At the top is a warning about shorting headers and connectors, it'll causr permanent damage the mainboard.
Does this warning have any bearing on this matter?
Obviously don't short short usb connectors etc, but they explicitly mention
"headers
and
connectors".
Case needs more transit time, thus I'd like to test components for faults & update (the burning asrock zen) bios beforehand.

If you haven’t tried resolving your concerns using the no-POST... forums. Notice, if you're overly concerned, don't proceed. But if you're comfortable, simply jump the power pins to each other using a small flat-tipped screwdriver. Yes, you also connect PWRBTN to ground with a similar tool—just make sure not to touch any other pins. It’s not difficult, but precision and care are essential.

For extra safety, I connected an old microelectronics female to male jumper cable and linked PWRBTN with the ground pin above it. Based on some videos, just touching them for a few seconds should be sufficient. This helps ensure accidental contact with other pins is avoided. I'm just trying to confirm it's PWRBTN and GND, not another pin. Better ask twice than risk breaking once.
