Switch to actual devices rather than virtual machines. It seems using physical hardware would be better. VM issues with DOS-based systems are common.

I owned a Pentium 3 back around 2013. I decided to put it back together for practice. There were lots of pieces scattered everywhere and it was chilly outside. Maybe I should have upgraded instead.

I'm preparing to install a Pentium 4 at 700MHz and set up Windows 98 SE. I also have an 80 GB IDE drive and a card compatible with Windows 98. Unfortunately, it isn't a 3DFX card, so the 3DFX games won't work. I might try playing them during my upcoming vacation, which begins in five days.
