You can reduce power usage in your PC to help save energy for the RTX 3060 Ti. The noise you hear when stressing the GPU might indicate inefficiency, so consider adjusting settings or upgrading components if possible. Your current setup includes a quiet power supply, an i310105f CPU, MSI H510M motherboard, 2x 2667MHz RAM, and basic peripherals without fans or lighting.

You're hearing coilwhine, which is harmless and not harmful to your card. It doesn't shorten the GPU's life; it's just a minor annoyance. You don't need to lower the GPU's power to fix it. The noise comes from power flowing through transistors causing the coils to vibrate—this is completely normal unless it bothers you.

You can explore it; it's outdated but the coils are still coilwhine.

400w seems a bit modest for that setup, but it runs smoothly without any crashes. I think I’d prefer a more powerful power supply just for better performance and efficiency. During gaming sessions, the system might use about 250-260w, so 400w should work fine. It’s on the lower end, but it’s not a big issue.

Generally, power sources perform worse at operating close to full capacity.

Are you really requiring an upgraded power supply for your 400W 80+BRONZE unit?

Great question! If you have more inquiries, feel free to ask.
The i3-10105F supports up to 65 watts (around 30-50W during gaming). RAM consumption is 4-6 watts per 8GB, and the HDD draws about 7-8 watts. That means your system typically uses roughly 250-270 watts while gaming.
