Hi, you're in the right place. To revert to an earlier version of Windows without affecting your Insider builds or losing any installed apps, you can use the built-in recovery options for Windows 10. Follow the steps in the Recovery menu to restore from a previous installation. This will bring your system back to the version you had before the Insider program was enabled. Let me know if you need more details!

Based on your experience with Insider builds and updates, reverting might not be possible. You'll need to do a full reinstall. https://www.howtogeek.com/274780/how-to-...nstalling/

You're considering upgrading your PC through the Windows Media Creation Tool. That's a solid approach to ensure you keep all your files and applications intact during the process.

It seems you're asking about the installation process. When downgrading, you can't choose "Keep files and apps." This feature is available only during installation of the same version or a newer release. Installing an older version requires a full reset, which is currently disabled.

It seems the recovery method isn't available anymore. Microsoft mentioned you can still use Recovery, but it's hidden after switching back to Windows 10 from Windows 11 (still in an insider build).

It seems you're referring to a single-step recovery process you completed, and you're noting it was the last thing you did.
