I wanted to see how Asus's AI Suite III worked compared to manually overclocking in the BIOS. Now I want to go back to stock, and I can't find anything about setting it back to default. I want to get rid of their autoclock settings and do my own manually. What should I do?

You can try the software to do it, but it's really frustrating - we all think so. Completely removing the program is the best option honestly. Even trying to use it with software isn't a good idea at all.

I possess an ASUS Maximus VI chip. To reset the Suite III overclock, I need to restart the PC and enter BIOS, usually using the F5 key.

I have an ASUS Maximus VI BIOS. To reset the Suite III overclock, I need to restart the PC and enter BIOS, restoring the defaults (usually by pressing the F5 button). I attempted this, but the system remains at 4.7ghz while running Prime95. It was enjoyable initially, but now I wish to return to the original settings.

Hey - after a couple of years here, I discovered a fix.
Uninstall AI Suite 3 - you don't need it.
Reboot - enter bios - select "load optimized defaults".
Save and reboot. It will reverse the changes AI Suite made.
