Hello everyone, today I installed Cheat Engine for singleplayer cheats, but I suspect I left off unchecking "Set iStartSurf as default homepage." I tried removing it completely, but after doing so, Chrome still opens the standard homepage instead of the one I set. I also made sure to save www.google.com as my default, but it still loads iStartSurf when I open Chrome.

I have already uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller, but when I launch it again, only the items I’m familiar with remain visible.

Search for Chrome extensions, note their directory paths, then clear those folders. Next, examine the uninstaller tool for suspicious items and remove them.

Hey there! I noticed you're eager to talk. What's on your mind?

Open the Control Panel, then go to Programs. Find Malwarebytes and delete unwanted items from Program files and Program files (x86).

If nothing is happening, go to your Chrome-settings and remove it from "Search engines"...

I also ran into some issues... Ugh. I’ll start in safe mode, wipe everything connected to it. Uninstall Chrome, reset IE, and adjust the homepage settings in Internet options. Look for "istartsurf" on your boot drive and remove any files you find. Reinstall Chrome, and that should resolve it.
