She has a Windows 7 Enterprise laptop from university. I understand the differences between Enterprise, Professional, and Home Premium versions. Would it be feasible to reinstall it at home or does it require being connected to a specific network for activation? Also, is there a reliable source to download an ISO for it? I’m having trouble finding one.

For the ISO issue—though I don't have your other questions—I understand. The link is available.

Need another Windows install? The Enterprise setup needs a KMS server to be reactivated every three months. It’s not worth the hassle. What’s the point of reinstalling again?

I thought it might be similar. It’s an older laptop with past virus issues and programs often crashing. The system sometimes freezes. She was considering a new laptop, but I thought upgrading to an SSD and reinstalling Windows would fix the problems without spending much. I’m thinking either breaking into Windows 7 (since she has a valid license) or purchasing an 8.1 key from g2a. Thanks.

She claims to have a valid permit or authorization, even if it's not officially recognized.

It seems like you're asking if something is actually recorded or stored digitally.

It sounds like you're thinking of a physical sticker on the laptop, not a digital tool. You mentioned using a program to locate your key, which makes sense for finding it if it's hidden or misplaced.

That's incorrect since it would generate a MAK or KMS key. Choose another option.

Sure thing, I understand. I won't be contributing any cost for it.
