How to properly install Windows on a new SSD.
How to properly install Windows on a new SSD.
so i just purchased a pc again and after some checks it seems my ssd is limiting performance. i bought a new one and now i plan to swap it into the old ssd spot, keeping it near the cpu. i also want to install windows there because it runs faster. anyone can help me with the steps? i just need to make sure i’m following the right process without relying on a youtube guide that doesn’t match my setup. i’d like to keep the old ssd and move its position, so i’m curious about how to remove windows from it properly. thanks a lot.

it wasn't preassembled, so i ordered the components separately and had someone build it for me. but the work was really bad, which meant i ended up rebuilding the pc on my own. he mixed in a lot of low-quality parts with the premium ones i ordered—m790a maxwifi, rx9070xt, and i7 14700k. the only remaining part is the ssd, which he put in there anyway. everything else was swapped out. the only positive outcome was gaining some experience, and next time i'll build it myself.
