Pardon the noob question, please bear with me. as I've no experience with UEFI Boot / Windows etc. Only till recently I've move to Windows 10. So I'm changing a new Mobo, I'm planning to do a PROPER and CLEAN install of Windows 10 again to avoid any compatibility issues. When I wanted to Format my SSD which is the OS installed. I notice there are 3 Partitions which I didn't make. One was the SSD itself, another is System Reserved I believe, around 100MB ( Couldn't remember exactly ) another I think it's for the UEFI which is about 450MB So I was wondering, what should I do. Do I Delete all the Partitions or do I just Format all three of them and Re-Install Windows ?? ( I have my HDD disconnected while doing Windows install to avoid OS installing the Boot files into the HDD like my previous system....seriously FKed up there )

Use the USB setup from Microsoft to create a Windows installation. Connect the device, restart, and follow the prompts. Pick the option to perform a fresh or advanced setup. Select every partition of your SSD you see and delete them. You’ll be left with a single unpartitioned area. Click on that space, then choose "create." The tool will generate all required partitions for recovery and system use automatically. Proceed to the next step and complete the process.

I have the USB Install prepared. I got confused during the formatting stage. From the start, there were no partitions at all. Now I’m trying to format it again and reinstall—it feels different. Could you help me? It seems straightforward, but I just want to make sure I don’t mess anything up. It’s not fun to redo everything after formatting!

The process becomes simple once you reach the advanced configuration stage. With several drives, you can assign the required space immediately or schedule it using the Windows utility after installation.
