I start a game and either other sound apps become silent (really bad when I’m chatting with my boyfriend) or the game lowers its volume below 10. Usually I set my device audio to 69, other apps around 10%, most games at 90%, and everything else at 100%. I’m wondering if there’s a way to stop Windows from automatically reducing the volume. I use the Razer Blackshark V2 headphones and mic, connected via USB sound card through the front panel headers. My boyfriend says it improves his microphone quality compared to the built-in audio jack. I’ve set it as my default and turned off THX Spatial Audio in Device Manager and the Sound Settings app because I don’t like it.
