How to prevent the automatic update from appearing once it's complete.
I only use this app for making rare gifs, so I turned it off at startup. Yet it still appeared after the update. Can anyone tell me how to prevent gyazo from running unless you open it? Does it automatically update when you open it yourself, or is the background service needed for a new install?
I don't have personal preferences, but I can suggest some popular options known for being quick and easy to use for screen-capture GIFs.

unlike gyazo, i believe it's less likely to cause an issue.
I checked the settings, and it appears to likely verify updates only when the app is launched. I'll be using this for now, thank you!
Sounds good, I don't think it has any way to upload gifs to their site so I'll just use imgur which is perfect.
Additionally do you know what exactly downloading gifski library does in the .exe if you've used it? Does it allow for gif creating or something else?
There's an option to check for updates on start-up, do you know if this applies ONLY when you manually open the app?
