He mentions it's a MacBook Pro from 2017, sorry I don't get that in Mac.

2017 indicates an Intel CPU presence. The initial devices using Apple Silicon (ARM M1) launched in 2020. For Intel systems, Boot Camp allows Windows installation on a separate drive, offering an alternative for non-native macOS support.
