You can join a CS:GO match with two other players by using community servers. You don’t need Workshop maps—just sign up for a server and play together.

You can access community servers if you wish, but when others join they appear higher in the rankings, making more people notice them. If you run your own server, the player with the lowest ping will have an edge. To stay private and fair, use just 5 players or machines. Assign one of them to host and avoid running the server from that machine using SteamCmd.

Despite your lack of skill, it's still wise to try Casual or Demo modes. That way, you'll face stronger opponents and learn how to find safe spots effectively.

Avoid my previous actions and jump into the competition right away. I did this before the VAC wave when the ranking system wasn’t in place—it was significantly tougher, honestly.

Sure, I thought they were aiming for a temporary role just to test the controls and work on strategies. I’ve got around 2.5k hours in Counter-Strike, and if you’re not ready to dive deeper into Cevo, head-shot is the best place to practice. It’s where many top players focus.

That's what I accomplished, and after the Nova-Master update, I was able to get damage on competitive alone.
