I also possess an HP notebook 15 bs 658TX equipped with a Core i3 6006U. Its clock speed stands at 2.00GHz. Is there a way to extract more performance without overheating it? I currently use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility with core voltage and IccMax, but only CPU-related settings are visible. Are there additional possibilities?

Laptops are set not to be overclocked because their cooling systems simply cannot manage the increased heat. They tend to reduce performance when pushed harder.

Laptops are set not to be overclocked because their cooling systems simply aren't designed to handle higher performance. Running them at heavier loads causes the thermal limits to be exceeded. Most laptops naturally reduce performance when under stress.

I3 models lack turbo bins, but I5 and I7 do. However, not every CPU can turbo overclock. My Haswell laptop supports a 200 MHz boost using turbo bins.
