The desktop chips operate at 1.25V due to the physical limitations of a compact laptop design, where space and power management are critical. Raising the voltage won't significantly improve longevity, and boosting core clocks without voltage changes only harms stability. Claiming higher voltages for laptops based on desktop specifications is not logical.
As long as the heat remains manageable and the voltage stays within normal limits, the lifespan won’t drop much. You’ll also be able to boost the GPU’s clock speed without changing the voltage, making it extremely safe as long as temperatures stay under control.
It's not unreasonable considering there are no temperature and power constraints.
