What steps should I take to increase my cpu speed in the bios? I have an intel i5 6600k with a noctua nhd15, and I'm using an asus z170 atx-a. This is my first computer, and I need guidance on overclocking.

There are many things to cover in one post. You'll need adequate cooling inside the case too. Also, why would you want to overclock? You have to tweak the multiplier, vcore, and sometimes BCLK to achieve a stable overclock. This process is mostly trial and error, so it might not succeed on the first attempt. I'll share a helpful guide for overclocking.
