How to OC AMD with BIOS?
I just can't trust AMD overdrive to handle my AMD FX-8350 because the last time I used it, it showed 100's of MHz over my target speed and voltage (it may of just been reading it wrong, but I still can't trust it). So I must ask, how do I OC with an ASUS 970? motherboard? If you need to ask any other questions that could more accurately help me, please ask.
Before starting, determine which Asus 970 board you possess accurately.
Before proceeding, confirm the exact Asus 970 board model you possess.

Before proceeding, confirm the exact Asus 970 board you possess. Disable Turbo mode in BIOS, then raise the CPU clock multiplier by one step. Save, boot into Windows, and execute a stress test. If stability returns, continue adjusting. When instability appears, fine-tune the voltage settings in BIOS. Increase vcore slightly at each increment, save, reboot, and assess. If stable, consider boosting the multiplier further. Balance the multiplier with voltage changes; aim to keep vcore below 1.5V for optimal performance.

Find and disable Turbo mode in BIOS. Then raise the CPU clock multiplier by one step. Save, boot to Windows, and execute a stress test. If everything functions properly, repeat the process. Once instability appears, adjust the voltage settings in BIOS. Increase the vcore slightly at a time, save, reboot, and assess stability. If stable, consider increasing the CPU multiplier further. Balance the multiplier with voltage changes; avoid exceeding 1.5V on the vcore.
