During installation, click the setup button and choose Advanced/Custom. All options are available except Chrome, which is linked to Google. This lets you pick the installation drive. In my setup, I use two partitions: C for Windows and everything related, and D:\ for files and programs. This way, if I need to reinstall Windows later, I can do it quickly without worrying about backups, and most applications will restart and adjust themselves without needing a full reinstall. Perfect for urgent situations, like during school breaks when time is limited.

You can also rely on the Defaults Programs panel if you prefer not to deal with complex steps.
