Never really used this, but now I realize Microsoft owns Skype. I have an MS email and username. I can log in to Skype with this. What I need is to switch the email address to the one I actually use.

I don't think it's browser-specific, I'm using Chrome 108.0.5359.73

In the profile settings, you have the option to remove the existing email address and insert a new one.

Now what has happened is that my email provider has applied a filter blocking verification. I added a new email address, but I only have two, and the one that isn’t my main email doesn’t have a delete button next to it. I removed the entry from the form and saved it, which seems to have resolved the issue.
