Hi guys,
I recently tried adjusting the audio input on my computer. I need to switch the voice of someone calling me instantly, without installing anything new. Something similar to a Clownfish Voice Changer, but for audio input. Thanks a lot!

Is it possible for the caller to know I’m about to alter their voice?
Allow the caller to choose if they wish to install the software (such as Clownfish) on their own.
And at what point should the software be used in real time?

Of course you're aware that I'm altering her/his voice. The main issue is that I'm facing numerous difficulties installing the software, which isn't functioning correctly, so I prefer to handle it myself instead of relying on their installation process.

I think users should have full authority over their own voice. Achieving this control might currently pose a challenge. Still, as time passes, you'll gain better insights into setting up and fixing Clownfish.

It’s worth mentioning there’s a lot of available information about Clownfish. For instance:
https://yehiweb.com/how-to-use-clownfish-voice-changer/
I’ve found several related links, some general and others tailored to particular uses.

The saying “Teach a person to fish” comes to mind—perhaps a fitting reminder. I hope your community feels more confident when managing their own voice.

I don't believe you captured it correctly regarding the philosophical issue of right or wrong. The goal is to alter it so people can't identify them and let this voice guide their decisions before publishing anything.
I collaborate fully with my guests' complete agreement and take this seriously because the subject is very important.
I'm considering another approach. Maybe I'll record it and apply some anonymizing voice tools.
What are your thoughts? Do you have any suggestions?

There is no clear path to truly understanding the situation.
If anonymity is required, give the guests the necessary resources and details to maintain it.
That is the approach I recommend.
