I attempted to create a boot disk using the Windows Media Creation Tool and burned an ISO file, but the pre-made HP version didn’t recognize it as a bootable drive. We were replacing the PC with a fresh SSD but couldn’t locate a method to install the operating system.

Use the Media Creation Tool to generate a bootable USB drive. That’s all.

The prebuilt HP Auto Boot starts from the USB drive itself, not from BIOS settings.

Sorry, this situation might not work because HP uses special boards. I’m not completely confident, but it seems HP’s systems could be too advanced for regular buyers. They might also add extra costs like an expensive SSD to the base price. EDIT: I’ll reconsider that point. Visit their support site for more details.
