Hi
I'm trying to switch between three laptops frequently and need a KVM solution using USB C that works on all of them. I'm also considering using HDMI outputs and USB C for the keyboard and mouse, but I'm not sure if that would be feasible.
Thanks for your help.

HDMI doesn't allow two monitors on a laptop.
Are all laptops compatible with video via USB-C? Just because USB-C exists doesn't ensure video output.

My current configuration includes two laptops connected via USB-C to a Thunderbolt docking station with two monitors. I can switch the USB-C cables between the laptops to access the monitors, keyboard, and mouse, which works fine. However, when I added a third laptop from another client, I realized there’s a need for a more automated solution to manage the three laptops and the two monitors, keyboard, and mouse. There are advanced KVM switches available but they’re costly. I’m considering a more affordable option using a basic KVM and a USB-C hub to simplify the setup.
