I’ve repeated this process several times over eight years, yet Microsoft continues to complicate the removal of their hooks. I’ve reviewed the two stickers at the top—“Windows 11 clean install tutorial” and “How to cleanup Windows 11”—but I’m determined to go further. My goal is to minimize any connection to Microsoft. For instance, I’d prefer to log into my Microsoft account only when necessary and for specific purposes. I’ll need to explore comparable problems during the installation of Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024. I recall the 2016 version was difficult to install without adding Office 365, and I don’t want any involvement with Microsoft cloud services. Thank you.

When utilizing MS cloud services, you must employ your MS account. It is possible to create a local account instead, avoiding the need for the MS account in your system login.

An MS account is required to set up W11. Once installed, you can exit and select a local account for login. Certain functionalities, including the theme store, will need you to log in.

How I manage my systems.
MS handles the initial setup and activation.
Then I use Local Admin and Local Standard as regular daily users.
I don’t recall the most recent time I logged into my MS account on this main (Win 11 Pro) machine. Possibly a little while ago, maybe early last year.

As suggested, using any MS cloud account remains necessary.
The video is intended solely for Windows 11 installation.
Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InqkpLTHL0I
I haven't tested it personally.
Regarding pirating Office products, you'll face a ban from the forum administrators.
Office Home and Business 2024 doesn't appear to require a cloud account.

Thank you for the information. You're wondering if I might be infringing on copyright? I'm sure you're joking.

And you're aware that an "MS Account" isn't limited to a specific format like "[email protected]", correct?
It can be any email address paired with a password.
My account is a seldom-used Gmail address.
Also, you don't need to use that account for every login.

I understand you believed you purchased Windows, but you actually received a license—just for using it. If you're not comfortable with the Microsoft link, consider switching to Linux.
