Were those the ones?
It's tough to trace everything back through the fog of time, now....LOL... though I still recall the 4004 making an impact. Curious about what your thoughts focus on.

Yeah those were the ones.
I understand what you're saying. I've never had the opportunity to work with a 4004, but I recall adjusting an AMD 386DX, boosting a 486 to 133, and the excitement of using Vesa local bus graphics cards or getting SIMMs installed properly.

And of course, the enjoyment of LIF processors is evident. K5 with its ZIF socket brought a much-needed improvement.
