The graphics card I plan to overclock;
MSI Radeon R9 380 Gaming 4GB
PSU:
Cooler Master G550M
My system has 7 fans in total; 2 front, 3 small, and 2 inside the GPU.
I’m new to using MSI Afterburner and want to know what I should consider before starting. I’ve read a lot about it, but I’ve seen some friends lose their GPUs due to improper settings.
I understand there are limits on how much I can overclock and that voltage has to stay safe from overheating.
Any experienced users have any tips for this kind of configuration?

You've likely addressed the issue. Any increase in voltage becomes hazardous. Adjust fan speed to its highest setting starting at 70°C and beyond.
